We always have a few oddities and treasures that I can’t resist trying. There are always plants that I want to test, or things for my own garden and I offer the surplus. These will be in small quantities, and you may have to look hard to spot them! In addition, we grow: Climbers: We grow many hard-to-find vines, such as female and male bittersweet (you need both to produce berries!), hops, wisteria, trumpet creeper, porcelain vine, chocolate vine, sweet autumn clematis and more! Fruits: We generally have wonderful gooseberry, blueberry and blackberry bushes. Also dwarf peach and nectarine patio trees, rhubarb, strawberry, and alpine strawberry Houseplants: Look for a wide selection of begonias, jade plants, calla lilies, scented geraniums, jasmines, lemon trees, pomegranates, babies tears, tradescantias, goldfish plant, and other wonderful plants and herbs that can enhance your home. Dye Plants: We carry many of the best-known, most used dye plants, as well as some that are hard-to-find! Annuals: For summer color, annuals are hard to beat. From spring to mid-June, we offer a wide array of annuals. For early color: pansies, violas, sweet alyssum, stock, primroses and more. Geraniums, petunias, sweet potato vine, verbenas, marigolds, zinnias, cockscomb, nicotianas, and all the best annuals can be found. We also grow lots of annual vines: the wonderful asarina, thunbergia, morning glories, hyacinth beans, scarlet runner beans, moonflower, and more! |
